I am honored to be here and begin my training under your tutelage." Sir Roland studied me for a moment, his gaze scrutinizing. At last, a smile crept across his weathered features. "You have fire in your eyes, lad. That's a good start." </nc-section> <nc-section data-title="Version 2" data-color="green"> The clatter of hooves on the cobblestones announced my arrival. As I brought Thunder to a halt before the stables, a figure emerged from the shadows – a man adorned in gleaming plate armor. "You must be the new squire," he said, his voice resonant. "I am Sir Roland, master of this castle's cavalry." I slid from the saddle and dipped into a bow. "An honor to meet you, sir. I am Frederick, recently arrived from the village of Oakvale." Sir Roland nodded, studying me with keen eyes. "Oakvale..." he mused. "I knew a fine knight who hailed from those parts. If you work hard, perhaps you'll earn a reputation as admirable as his." With that, he turned and gestured for me to follow. An honor to train under one as esteemed as yourself." Sir Roland grunted. "We'll see if you've the makings of a true knight, boy. But that hunger in your eyes is a good start." He jerked his head toward the stables. "Best get your horse settled. We've much to do ere the night is through." With a roguish grin, he turned and strode away, leaving me to ponder what lay in store. </nc-section>
