"Well now, you must be the new recruit I've heard so much about!" the knight boomed in a jovial tone. I gave a respectful nod. "Sir Roland, I presume? An honor." He gave a dismissive wave. "No need for formalities, my boy. Just Roland is fine." Resting a hand on my shoulder, he gestured towards the castle with his other hand. "Come, let's get you settled.
