Sir Roland emerged from behind one stall wall as I dismounted Thunder – his smile was kind enough to ease some anxieties .<br> “Well met,” he said in voice low like rustling leaves," "I'mSir Rowland your instructor for the next few years.” His eyes crinkled at corners, “A squire must learn quickly and be ready. He spoke without fanfare as if already knowing what I had to say: “Welcome Frederick.”<BR>"This is no place for a weak heart or uncertain hand." he continued as we walked towards the castle, "You will face trials beyond your imagining.
