"You must be Frederick," he said, a slight smirk playing on his lips. "I'm Sir Roland. Your riding instructor, amongst other things." A large hand clapped me on the back, nearly knocking me over. "Welcome, welcome!" boomed the hearty voice. I turned to find myself face-to-face with Sir Roland, his beard practically quivering with mirth. "Frederick, I presume? Heard a great deal about you. Ready to learn what it truly means to be a knight?" I looked up to see a tall, imposing figure backlit by the setting sun. The knight stood silently for a moment, his gaze sharp and appraising. Then, a slow smile spread across his weathered face. "Frederick, I take it?" His voice was deep and resonant. "I am Sir Roland. Come, there’s much to discuss before nightfall." He gestured towards the castle, and I felt a surge of anticipation course through me. </nc-section>
