Here is the scene: Marie sat at a small café in the heart of Alborn, MN, nursing a cup of coffee and staring at her camera with a look of concern. She was still shaken by the events of the previous night. As she examined her camera's LCD screen, a man with a rugged demeanor and a detective's badge on his belt approached her table. "Mind if I join you?" he asked gruffly. Marie looked up, startled, and Hunter took a seat across from her. "I'm Detective Hunter," he introduced himself. "I'm investigating some... strange occurrences in Alborn. I understand you were in the area last night. Can you tell me what you saw?" Marie's eyes clouded, and she launched into a rapid-fire explanation in French. "J'ai vu quelque chose d'horrible! Une personne est partie en courant, et puis il y a eu un grand bruit... Je suis allée chercher mon appareil photo, mais quand je suis revenue, tout était fini... Oh mon dieu, j'espère que je ne suis pas la prochaine..." Hunter's expression turned from expectant to confused. "I'm sorry, miss... what was that you said?" Marie, still agitated, continued in French, hoping Hunter would somehow magically understand. "Je suis désolée, je ne parle pas anglais... Pourquoi cela arrive-t-il ici? Qu'est-ce qui se passe dans cette ville?" Hunter shook his head, frustrated. "Look, I don't understand what you're saying.
