Selvi: *Hindi* "I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying. Do you speak Hindi?" Hunter: "No, I don't. I'm Hunter, the detective investigating the disappearances in town. I heard you were at the cafe today and wanted to ask you if you saw or heard anything unusual." Selvi: *Hindi* "I... I think I might have seen something. But it's hard to explain. Can we talk somewhere private?" Hunter: "Of course. Let's go to my office." Selvi: *Hindi* "No, not there. Too many people. How about that park over there?" Hunter: "Alright, let's go to the park." As they walk to the park, Selvi tells Hunter about what she saw, trying her best to describe it in broken English. Hunter takes notes and asks her to show him the photos she took on her camera. After reviewing the photos, Hunter gets a call about another lead in the investigation. He thanks Selvi for her help and promises to keep her updated on the case. Hunter: *On the phone* "Yes, I found something. We'll need to investigate further." Selvi: "Thank you for listening to me. I hope my photos will help." Hunter: "They might. We'll see. Take care." *Hangs up* "Sorry about that. I have to go follow up on this lead. Here's my card. Call me if you remember anything else or if you feel unsafe." Selvi: "Thank you, Detective Hunter."
