Here is the dialogue between Marie and Hunter: Marie: "Je ne sais pas comment ça va se terminer. J'ai vu quelque chose de vraiment effrayant hier soir. Il y avait des gens partout et puis soudainement, tout le monde a disparu. Je t'assure, c'est arrivé comme ça." (Translation: "I don't know how it's going to end. I saw something really scary last night. There were people everywhere and then suddenly, everyone vanished. I swear, it happened like that.") Hunter: "Slow down, what are you talking about? What's going on?" Marie: "Les gens qui étaient à la fête, ils ont tous disparu. Et puis les pompiers et les policiers sont arrivés et... (audible shaking and distress) Hunter: (chuckling awkwardly) "Okay, okay. I think I understand. It sounds like you're trying to tell me something, but I don't speak French. Can you tell me in English what happened at the festival?" Marie: "Non, non... (shaking head) Je ne peux pas expliquer. C'est trop bizarre et effrayant. Les gens qui travaillent pour la ville sont en train de... (cutting off as she realizes Hunter doesn't understand) Hunter: (reaching out and placing a hand on her shoulder) "Hey, it's okay. I think you're trying to tell me something important. Can you try again, just... uh... describe what happened in a different way?" Marie: (hesitantly) "Les gens, ils ont disparu. Comme s'ils étaient aspirés par le vide... (shivering) Je sais que c'est dingue, mais je jure que c'est arrivé comme ça." (Translation: "The people have vanished. Like they were sucked into a void... (shivering) I know it sounds crazy, but I swear it happened like that.") Hunter: (serious) "Alright, I think we've got something here. I need to go, but I want to talk to you some more about this. Can you meet me at the police station tomorrow?" Marie: (nervously) "D'accord..." (Translation: "Okay...") (Hunter receives a call on his phone and gets up to leave) Detective: (voice on phone) "Hunter, where are you?" Hunter: (answering) "I'm at the cafe on Main Street. I'll be right there." (Hunter hangs up the phone and leaves, leaving Marie looking shaken and upset)
