Have you noticed anything unusual or suspicious lately? Or perhaps seen any of the missing persons?" Marie: *In French, stuttering and hardly above a whisper:* Il se passe des choses étranges dans cette ville. Quelque chose n'est pas normal. *She seems paranoid, glancing around nervously before fixing her gaze determinedly on Hunter.* Hunter: "What's that? Did you say something is strange about the town? Who are those people over there?" *He points to a group of locals at the next table.* Marie: *Her eyes go wide with fear as she looks over at the people Hunter indicated. In French, her voice is barely a hoarse whisper:* Ce sont eux. Ils sont tous dans le complot. Meurtre, disparition... je ne sais pas. Mais je dois m'en aller. *She stands abruptly, knocking over her chair, and bolts out of the cafe without another word.* Hunter: *He watches Marie flee, utterly perplexed, before his phone rings. He answers it.* "Yeah, what is it? ...I'm on my way." *He slides out of the booth and hastily leaves the cafe, not sparing another glance for Marie.*
