INT. ALBORN CAFE - DAY Isabella sits alone at a small table, her camera lying on the checkered tablecloth in front of her. She stares down at it with a concerned expression. The door jingles as it opens. Hunter enters, his eyes scanning the room. He spots Isabella and approaches her table. HUNTER (sitting down) Miss, excuse me. I'm Detective Hunter with the Alborn Police Department. Isabella looks up, startled. She doesn't understand what he said. HUNTER (CONT'D) I'm investigating a recent incident. Have you noticed anything unusual in town lately? Isabella shakes her head, still not comprehending. HUNTER (CONT'D) Did you see or hear anything strange yesterday evening? Isabella's eyes widen. She leans forward and speaks rapidly in Italian. Hunter stares at her, looking utterly perplexed. HUNTER I'm sorry, I don't speak Italian. Can you tell me in English? Isabella's face falls. She realizes they can't communicate. HUNTER (CONT'D) Maybe I can get a translator. Wait here. Just then, Hunter's phone buzzes. He glances at the screen, then stands. HUNTER Sorry, I have to go. Stay right here, okay? He hurries out of the cafe. Isabella watches him go, still looking troubled. She sits back in her chair, her eyes drifting to her camera. FADE OUT.
