Melanie sat at the small café in Alborn, sipping on a hot cup of coffee as she stared intently at the screen of her camera. The last few days had been unsettling, with whispers of strange disappearances throughout the town. As an outsider, she tried to stay out of it, focusing on her studies and capturing the picturesque landscapes with her lens. Just as she was about to take another sip of her coffee, a gruff voice interrupted her thoughts. "Excuse me, miss. Are you Melanie?" Startled, Melanie looked up to see a tall, rugged-looking man with a stern expression. His dark eyes bore into hers, and she felt a shiver run down her spine. "Ja, ich bin Melanie," she replied nervously, setting down her cup. The man pulled up a chair and sat down across from her. "My name is Detective Hunter.
