Here is the scene: Maria sat at the small café, sipping her coffee and scrolling through the photographs on her camera. She stopped at one particular shot, a beautiful landscape of the apple orchards just outside of Alborn. She had been enjoying the picture until her mind began to wander back to the strange occurrence the night before. She had been out taking photos of the stars when she saw a figure slipping into the trees. It had been a fleeting glimpse, but enough to unsettle her. Just then, a man approached her table. He was tall and imposing, with a rugged look that seemed out of place in the quaint café. Maria felt a moment of unease as he towered over her. "Excuse me," he said, his deep voice firm but not unfriendly. "Mind if I sit down?" Maria hesitated for a moment before nodding, unsure of what to do. The man sat across from her, his eyes scanning her face. "I'm Detective Hunter," he said. "I'm investigating some... strange happenings in Alborn. I was wondering if you've seen anything unusual?" Maria's eyes widened as she stared at the detective. She opened her mouth to speak, but the words came tumbling out in Spanish. "¡Es terrible! ¡Estuve en el campo anoche tomando fotos de las estrellas! ¡Vi a alguien escondiéndose en los árboles! ¡No sabía qué hacer! ¡Estuve tan asustada!" The detective's face was a picture of confusion. He furrowed his brow and cocked his head to the side, clearly not understanding a word she was saying. Maria's face flushed with embarrassment and frustration. She had been so caught up in the moment that she had forgotten she couldn't speak English. Hunter pulled out a small notebook and flipped it open. "Can you write what you're trying to say? I don't speak Spanish." Maria nodded, feeling a little more at ease. She scribbled out a quick note and handed it to the detective. "I saw someone hiding in the trees last night. I was scared. It was around 11 pm." Hunter's eyes scanned the note, his expression grave. He looked up at Maria and asked, "Can you tell me more about what you saw?" Maria hesitated, unsure of how to express herself in writing. But she did her best, scribbling out a quick description of the figure and the direction it had been heading. Hunter
