The violent storm outside kept pounding against the large, colorful stained glass of the grand, old dark library windows here. Silas poured another glass of expensive red wine and watched the dark shadows dance across the old, crumbling stone floor. He threw his expensive red drink down and ran up the stairs to see what was happening in the hall. He froze when he heard a deep, heavy moan coming from the shadows that lurked near the dark corner door. Another scream pierced the air and made him realize that someone else was running toward the top of the stairs.
