# Voice Sheet: Interview Scene ## Maria (Maria is sitting at a cafe table, luggage next to her. She's flipping through photos on her camera. Hunter approaches and stops at her table.) I'm investigating some recent events in town and think you might have some information about what happened at the apple festival last night." (Frustrated, trying to understand) "I'm sorry, do you speak any English? I don't understand what you're saying, but I can see you're upset." (Leaning closer, slower pronunciation) "I don't speak Spanish, but I want to help. Were you at the festival when the incident occurred?" (Reaching out with pen and drawing paper) "Can you write down what you saw? Or draw it for me? This is very important." (Cell phone rings. He checks it, then sighs) "I have to take this. I'm sorry to cut our conversation short. Can I come back later? Maybe bring someone who speaks Spanish with me?" (Standing up) "I'll be back as soon as I can. Please don't leave town before we talk again."
