I'll take that as a yes." *(pulls out a chair, sits)* "I wanted to ask you about last night. Down by the old mill. You were in the area, weren't you?" I get that much. Were you hurt? Are you hurt?" *(points at her, then makes a vague gesture)* Melanie: *(shaking her head quickly)* "Nein, nein, mir geht es gut. Aber der Mann—" *(she lifts the camera, turning the screen toward him)* "—sehen Sie. Schauen Sie sich das an." Hunter: *(leaning in to look at the screen, his expression shifting)* "Now that... that I understand. That's the mill. And that—" *(taps the screen)* "—who is that?" Melanie: "Ich weiß es nicht. Ich weiß nicht, wer er ist. Aber ich habe Angst." *(quietly)* "Ich habe wirklich Angst." Hunter: "You don't have to tell me. I can see it on your face." *(softening just slightly)* "Listen. I'm going to get someone who can translate, all right? Don't go anywhere. Stay right—" *(Hunter's phone buzzes loudly. He glances at the screen, jaw tightening.)* Hunter: "...Hunter. Yeah. Where?" *(stands abruptly, chair scraping)* "Got it. Two minutes." Melanie: *(half-rising)* "Was ist los? Müssen Sie gehen?" Hunter: "I have to go.
