The orchard road. You were out there, weren't you? Somebody said they saw a woman with a camera." Selvi: "हाँ, हाँ, मैं वहाँ थी। बाग़ के पास। मैं सूरज डूबने की तस्वीरें ले रही थी, बस इतना ही, सच में।" Hunter: "...Okay. That's—that's not English." Selvi: "मुझे अंग्रेज़ी नहीं आती। I... no English. सॉरी।" Hunter: "Great. Perfect." (exhales) "Look. Sunday. Night." (taps wrist, points down the road) "Orchard. You. Camera. Yes? No?" Selvi: "हाँ, हाँ, कैमरा, बाग़, हाँ।" (nodding hard, then faltering) "लेकिन मैंने कुछ देखा, साहब। कुछ ऐसा जो मुझे समझ नहीं आया।" Hunter: "You're shaking. Ma'am, are you okay?" (nods slowly) "हाँ, कॉपी। मेरे पास लैपटॉप है, होटल में। मैं... कॉपी।" Hunter: "Good. Good, that's—" (phone buzzes; he checks it, face hardening) "Yeah, this is Hunter." (pause) "Where? ...Same stretch of road? Don't let anybody touch it. I'm ten minutes out." Selvi: "क्या हुआ? क्या कुछ हुआ है?" Hunter: "I gotta go." Selvi: (taking the card, reading it) "हंटर।" (looking up) "आप... सावधान रहिए। वह आदमी सही नहीं था।" Hunter: (pausing, half-turned) "...Yeah. I'm starting to figure that out." (over his shoulder) "Stay off that road, ma'am. Please. Stay off the road." Selvi: (to the empty chair, hugging the camera) "मुझे कुछ समझ नहीं आ रहा। कुछ भी नहीं।"
