Isabella: “[Sits at a café table, turning her camera over in her hands.]” Hunter: “Isabella Rossi?” Isabella: “Sì. Sono io.” Hunter: “Detective Hunter. C’era un uomo con lei.” Hunter: “A man?” [He gestures toward Clara’s picture, then holds up one finger.] Isabella: “Sì, un uomo.” [She searches for the right words, then shakes her head in frustration.] “Non l’ha presa. Lei lo seguiva, ma… non voleva andare.” Hunter: “I’m not following you.” [He gestures for her to show him.] Isabella: “[She opens the camera and scrolls through several photographs. She turns the screen toward him. In one, Clara stands at the edge of the festival lights. A blurred figure waits beyond her, near the orchard gate.] “Ecco. L’ho fotografata per caso. Guardi l’uomo.” Hunter: “That’s Clara?” [He leans closer to the screen.] “And this is the man?” Isabella: “Sì.
