"So, what brings you to our little town?" the first character asked, their voice laced with curiosity. "Just passing through," the second character replied, taking a sip of their coffee. "Heard this place had the best baked goods around." "Well, you're in luck. Our baker is quite the artist," the first character said, gesturing towards the display case. "Have you tried anything yet?" "I was just about to," the second character said, standing up from their seat. "That apple pie looks amazing." As they approached the counter, the baker popped out from the back room, her apron still on. "Welcome to our humble bakery. What can I get for you today?" "I'll take a slice of that apple pie," the second character said, pointing to the flaky crust. "Coming right up," the baker replied, reaching for a plate. As the second character sat back down, they took a bite of the pie. Their eyes widened in surprise. "This is incredible," they said, their voice filled with delight. "We use only the freshest ingredients," the first character said, smiling. "What brings you to our town anyway? You didn't mention that earlier." The second character hesitated for a moment before answering. "It's a long story," they said, taking another bite of pie. "But let's just say I'm not here on vacation."
