"Morning, Martha. Your usual?" the baker asked, wiping flour-dusted hands on his apron. "Please, Henry. And a scone for the road. I've got a feeling today's going to be one of those days." Henry raised an eyebrow. "Trouble in paradise?" Martha sighed. "You could say that. Old Man Jenkins found a body in his garden. Said it's been there for years, but who knows? He's not exactly reliable." Henry whistled softly. "A body, you say? Here in our little town?" "Yep. Sheriff's on his way. I'm heading over to see if I can lend a hand." Henry handed her a cup of coffee and a bag with her order. "Be careful, Martha. You know what they say about nosy people." Martha chuckled. "I'll be fine, Henry.
