Molly and Bill crouched behind a row of bushes, peering through the leaves at the colorful chaos of the children's party. Balloons bobbed in the breeze, and the sound of laughter filled the air. "Alright, Bill, what's the plan?" Molly whispered, her eyes fixed on the pile of presents stacked under a tree. Bill adjusted his cap and grinned. "Simple. We blend in, grab the loot, and get out. Easy peasy." Molly raised an eyebrow. "Blend in? We're not exactly dressed for a party." Bill looked down at his black turtleneck and cargo pants. "Details, details. We'll improvise. You see that clown over there?" Molly followed his gaze to a clown making balloon animals. "Yeah, what about him?" "We take his costume. You distract him, I'll grab it." Molly sighed. "Fine, but if this goes south, I'm blaming you." Bill chuckled. "Deal. Now, go make some balloon animals or something." Molly rolled her eyes but crept towards the clown. "Hey, Mr. Clown! Can you make me a giraffe?" The clown turned, smiling. "Of course! One giraffe coming right up!" As the clown focused on twisting balloons, Bill snuck up behind him and deftly unzipped the clown's oversized bag. He pulled out a spare costume and tossed it to Molly. "Quick, put this on," Bill whispered. Molly slipped into the clown suit, adjusting the oversized shoes. "I feel ridiculous." Bill smirked. "You look ridiculous. Now, let's get those presents." They sauntered towards the tree, trying to blend in with the children. A little girl tugged on Molly's sleeve. "Can you make me a balloon doggie?" Molly forced a smile. "Sure thing, kiddo." As she fumbled with the balloons, Bill started stacking presents into a large sack. He glanced around nervously. "Hurry up, Molly. We don't have all day." Molly handed the girl a lopsided balloon dog. "Here you go. Now, run along." The girl giggled and ran off. Molly turned to Bill. "How many more?" "Just a few. Keep an eye out." Molly scanned the crowd, her heart pounding. "Bill, we've got company." Bill looked up to see a group of parents heading their way. "Time to go!" They grabbed the sack and bolted towards the bushes. Just as they reached the edge of the yard, a voice called out. "Hey! What are you doing with those presents?" Molly and Bill froze. A stern-looking woman marched towards them, hands on her hips. "Uh, we're just, uh, moving them to a safer spot," Bill stammered. The woman narrowed her eyes. "In a sack? Dressed as a clown?" Molly stepped forward, trying to look innocent. "It's part of the act! We're the surprise entertainment!" The woman crossed her arms. "Really? Then why are you running away?" Bill nudged Molly. "Time for Plan B." Molly nodded. "Right. Plan B." They dropped the sack and sprinted towards the fence, vaulting over it with surprising agility. As they disappeared into the alley, they could hear the woman shouting behind them. "Get back here, you thieves!" Bill laughed as they ran. "Well, that could have gone better." Molly shook her head, grinning. "Next time, let's just stick to banks, okay?" Bill nodded. "Agreed. No more children's parties." They slowed to a walk, catching their breath. Molly glanced at Bill. "You still got the clown nose?" Bill pulled it out of his pocket and tossed it to her. "Souvenir?" Molly laughed. "Why not? Every heist needs a memento." They walked off into the sunset, leaving the chaos of the party behind.
