Molly surveyed the bustling party scene through her binoculars, her eyes dancing between clusters of balloons and tables laden with gifts. Beside her lurked Bill, munching absentmindedly on a stolen carrot stick, eyes fixed on the same prize. “Nervous?” Molly whispered without turning, the corner of her mouth hinting at a smirk. “Just impatient,” Bill muttered back, brushing off crumbs.
