Molly cased the brightly decorated backyard, her eyes darting between the towering pile of presents and the horde of sugar-fueled children. Bill joined her, munching on a pilfered cupcake. "You know, Bill, this isn't your typical heist. Kids can be more vicious than any guard dog." Bill licked frosting off his finger. "Eh, piece of cake. Literally." Molly rolled her eyes. "Focus, Bill. We need a distraction. Something big." "I've got just the thing," Bill said, pulling out a remote control. "Magic show, complete with disappearing magician. That'll clear the place out." "And how do we disappear with the loot?" "Easy," Bill grinned, "we dress as clowns. Nobody suspects a clown." Molly suppressed a groan. "Clowns? Really?" "Trust me," Bill insisted, "we'll blend in with the entertainment until the coast is clear." Molly sighed, considering the plan's absurdity. "Fine, but if this goes south, I'm blaming your oversized shoes." They donned their clown attire, Bill's polka-dotted suit clashing horribly with his unibrow. Molly's wig was a fiery red, her oversized gloves flopping comically as she moved. As the magic show commenced, the children's attention shifted to the vanishing act. Molly and Bill, under the guise of clown antics, inched towards the gift mountain. "On my signal," Molly whispered, her hand hovering over the remote to their getaway car. Bill nodded, juggling three balls to maintain their cover. The children' oohs and aahs reached a crescendo as the magician 'disappeared', and in the ensuing chaos, Molly hit the button. Their car, painted like a circus wagon, roared to life. They stuffed the last of the presents into the trunk, just as the magician reappeared to gasps of delight. Pulling off their wigs, Molly and Bill peeled away from the curb, leaving a trail of laughter and bewilderment in their wake.
