Molly and Bill sat in their van, parked a block away from the children's party. They had cased the joint and knew that the presents were kept in the living room, just past the bouncy castle and the clown making balloon animals. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Bill asked, fidgeting in his seat. "I mean, we're talking about a bunch of kids here. What if they start crying and screaming and ruin everything?" "Come on, Bill, it'll be fine," Molly said, trying to reassure him. "We're professionals, remember? We'll just slip in, grab the presents, and slip out before anyone even knows we're there." "But what about the parents? They're not going to just let us walk out with all those presents, are they?" "Well, that's where the distraction comes in," Molly explained. "I'll go in first and create a diversion – maybe knock over a punch bowl or something. While everyone's distracted, you'll sneak in and grab the presents. Simple as that." Bill still looked skeptical, but he nodded his head in agreement. "Alright, let's do this. But if anything goes wrong, I'm blaming you." Molly smirked and patted Bill on the back. "Don't worry, buddy. We've got this. Now let's go get those presents!" With a determined nod, Bill opened the van door and stepped out into the crisp afternoon air. Molly followed suit, and together they made their way towards the party. As they approached, they could hear the sound of children laughing and playing, and the faint strains of "Happy Birthday" being sung. "Okay, remember the plan," Molly whispered to Bill as they approached the bouncy castle. "Knock over the punch bowl, create a distraction, and then grab the presents. I'll be right behind you." Bill nodded and took a deep breath. "Okay, here goes nothing." As they reached the bouncy castle, Molly abruptly stopped and turned to face the clown. "Hey, buddy," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Your balloons are crap. I could do better with a straw and a piece of gum." The clown looked taken aback, but before he could respond, Molly made a quick movement and knocked over the punch bowl, sending a cascade of brightly-colored liquid across the floor. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" Molly exclaimed, putting on a look of mock concern. "I didn't mean to do that. Let me help you clean it up." As the clown and the other parents rushed to clean up the mess, Molly gave Bill a quick nod and disappeared into the living room. Bill watched her go, then quickly made his way towards the presents. It was easier than he had anticipated – the parents were all distracted by the mess, and no one seemed to notice him as he slipped into the living room and quietly gathered up the presents. Within minutes, he had them all stashed in the van and was running back to join Molly. "We did it!" Molly exclaimed as they jumped into the van and took off down the street. "We made off with all those presents and no one even noticed. We are the best thieves in the world!" Bill couldn't help but grin as he looked over at Molly, who was already eyeing their next target. Despite his reservations, he couldn't deny that he was excited for whatever adventure came next.
