Molly paced back and forth, her brow furrowed with concentration as she studied the floor plans spread out on the table. Bill sat nearby, his fingers drumming impatiently against the worn surface. "Alright, here's the plan," Molly said, her voice low and decisive. "The kids' party is being held at the mansion on the edge of town. We'll need to scale the back wall, disable the security system, and make our way to the main hall where the presents are being kept." Bill leaned forward, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "And what about the guests? Surely there'll be plenty of people there to watch our every move." Molly waved a dismissive hand. "Leave that to me. I've got a few tricks up my sleeve to keep the partygoers distracted." "Such as?" Bill prompted, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Just trust me, alright?" Molly replied, a hint of exasperation in her voice. "When the time comes, you'll know what to do." Bill raised his hands in surrender, chuckling. "Alright, alright, I'm with you. So when do we make our move?" "Tomorrow night, when the party's in full swing," Molly said, her gaze locked on the floor plans. "The security will be at its most lax, and the guests will be too busy stuffing their faces with cake and balloons to notice anything amiss." "Sounds like a plan," Bill said, rubbing his hands together eagerly. "I can't wait to see the look on those kids' faces when they realize their presents are gone." Molly frowned, her eyes narrowing. "Hey, let's not get too carried away here. This is supposed to be a quick in-and-out job, no unnecessary roughhousing or messing with the kids." Bill scoffed. "Aw, come on, Molly. Where's your sense of adventure? A little mayhem never hurt anyone." "I mean it, Bill," Molly said, her voice stern. "We're here to steal the presents, not to traumatize a bunch of children. Got it?" Bill held up his hands in surrender. "Alright, alright, I got it. No terrorizing the kiddies. Scout's honor." Molly eyed him skeptically, but nodded. "Good. Now, let's go over the plan one more time, and make sure we've got everything covered." As the two thieves bent over the floor plans, their voices hushed and urgent, the tension in the air was palpable. Tomorrow night, they would put their skills to the test, and if all went according to plan, they would walk away with a haul fit for a king.
