Molly and Bill huddled in a dark alley behind the party venue, their faces illuminated by the dim glow of a flashlight. They were both dressed in black from head to toe, with ski masks securely in place. "Alright, Bill," Molly whispered. "We've got one shot at this. We need to move quickly and quietly. Once we're inside, we grab as many presents as we can and get out without being seen." Bill nodded, his eyes darting around the room. "Roger that. But what about the kids? There's bound to be a ton of them running around." Molly smirked. "That's the beauty of it. We'll blend right in. Just act like you're having the time of your life, and no one will suspect a thing." Bill raised an eyebrow. "You mean I have to party with a bunch of screaming kids? This is going to be more painful than I thought." "Hey, it's all part of the job," Molly replied, patting him on the back. "Now let's go. The party's already in full swing." They approached the entrance, and Molly pulled out a pair of fake invitations. She handed one to Bill and winked. "Remember, we're the guests of honor." They slipped past the bouncer, who barely gave them a second glance, and stepped into the chaos of the children's party. Balloons and streamers were everywhere, and a DJ blasted music that was far too loud for the young audience. Molly grabbed Bill's arm and led him through the crowd, past a group of kids playing limbo and another doing the Macarena. "You see?" she shouted over the music. "No one even notices us!" Bill nodded, trying his best to look like he was enjoying himself. "I never thought I'd say this, but I might actually have fun here." They reached the gift table, which was piled high with colorfully wrapped presents. Molly grinned. "Time to get to work." Working quickly, they began stuffing presents into their bag. Bill grabbed a few more than he needed, unable to resist the lure of the shiny wrapping paper. Suddenly, a small voice piped up behind them. "Hey, what are you doing?" Molly and Bill froze, their hearts pounding in their chests. They turned around to find a little girl with a serious expression on her face, her hands on her hips. Molly tried to keep her voice steady. "Uh, we're just helping to organize the presents. You know, making sure everyone gets the right one." The girl narrowed her eyes. "That doesn't look like organizing to me. It looks like stealing." Bill shifted uncomfortably. "Now, now, sweetheart. We're just playing a little game. It's all part of the fun, right?" The girl didn't look convinced, but she seemed to consider their explanation. After a moment, she shrugged and wandered off to rejoin her friends. Molly and Bill exchanged a relieved glance. "That was too close," Molly muttered. "Let's finish this up and get out of here." They filled their bags with the remaining presents, then made their way back through the crowd and out the front door. Once they were safely outside, they ditched their disguises and high-fived each other. "Another successful heist!" Molly exclaimed, grinning widely. "We make a great team, Bill." Bill chuckled. "You can say that again. But next time, let's rob a casino or something. I've had enough of children's parties for one lifetime."
