"Bill!" Molly exclaimed, slamming her hands on the table. "We've got a job to do tonight." Bill looked up from his beer. "What's the gig?" he asked through a mouthful of peanuts. "Children's party," Molly said, leaning in close. "The toys are worth a fortune." Bill spit out his peanuts. "You've lost your mind. A children's party? That's a job?" Molly rolled her eyes. "Think about it Bill. Rich parents, overindulging their spoiled brats. They'll get anything their little angels ask for. Easy pickings." Bill scratched his stubble skeptically. "I don't know... sound kinda iffy to me." "Oh come on, we're talking about a room full of presents," Molly said with a grin. "Just grab a few, no one will ever know." Bill thought for a moment, then sighed. "Alright, you twisted my arm. But I doubt it'll be a gold mine." "Just trust me. We'll test our limits but we'll also get real lucky. I know how to smooth talk my way past any mama's boy with a shiny new toy," Molly said with a wink. "I don't know about this..." Bill muttered. "C'mon, live a little! We're gonna make out like bandits. The kid gloves are off," Molly declared. "Kid gloves? Really? That's terrible," Bill groaned. "Stop being a baby. Come on, where's your hustle?" Molly glared. "Unless you're too much of a wuss-" "I'll do it," Bill said quickly. "You got yourself a partner in crime." "That's my boy! We're gonna rob from the rich to give to ourselves. Stick it to the man. Establish our legacy," Molly said enthusiastically. "I'll be Robin Hood and you can be... Well, not really sure how the whole story goes but you get my gist." "I might need a drink. Or ten. This is gonna be a long night," Bill mumbled. "Oh cheer up! We're gonna have a ball," Molly said, shooting him a Cheshire grin. "Although I think the tooth fairy has her work cut out for her with these brats." Bill just shook his head and began to dread the evening to come. Stealing presents from toddlers- his life had really hit rock bottom. But he prayed to God the kid gloves were disposable. This was sure to be a real tough job.
