Molly sat at the kitchen table, surrounded by maps, blueprints, and various pictures of the target. Her eyes flicked between them, as she munched on a piece of stale toast. She had her notebook open in front of her, jotting down her ideas. Bill walked into the room, yawning and rubbing his eyes. "Morning, sunshine," he said, flopping down into a chair. "What's the plan for today?" Molly grinned. "Today, we steal from a children's party." Bill's eyebrows shot up. "Really? Are you serious? Isn't that a little... immoral?" Molly laughed. "Bill, every heist we've ever pulled has been a little immoral. Besides, it's just presents. No one's going to get hurt." Bill hesitated for a moment, then shook his head. "Alright, you've got my attention. What's the location?" Molly showed him the map. "It's a mansion on the outskirts of town. The party's being thrown for some rich kid's fifth birthday. There's gonna be at least a dozen kids there, along with their parents and some servants." Bill rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "And how do you plan on getting in without getting caught?" Molly smiled. "We're gonna blend in. You're gonna dress up as a clown, and I'm gonna be a magician's assistant." Bill groaned. "I hated clowns as a kid. And I'm way too old to be wearing make-up now." Molly laughed. "Come on, Bill. This is our job. We can't be picky about what we do. Besides, I heard they're paying a fortune for entertainment." Bill sighed, then shrugged. "Fine. When do we leave?" Molly checked her watch. "In an hour. Plenty of time to get ready." They spent the next hour preparing. Molly dug out an old magician's costume from her closet, while Bill painstakingly applied clown make-up. They both tried to memorize their roles, practicing their routines in front of the mirror. Finally, they set off for the mansion. As they approached, they could hear the sounds of laughter and excitement coming from inside. They hesitated for a moment, then nodded to each other. "Ready?" Molly asked. Bill forced a smile. "As I'll ever be." They pushed open the door and walked into the room. The children stared at them in awe, while the parents clapped politely. Molly began her magic act, while Bill juggled and made balloon animals. As the party went on, Molly sneaked around, looking for the presents. She found them in a small room off to the side, guarded by one of the servants. She quickly picked the lock and grabbed the presents, then hid them under her coat. Bill, meanwhile, continued to entertain the kids. He did his best to act naturally, but he could feel the weight of the stolen goods beneath his clown costume. Finally, the party came to an end. The children hugged Molly and Bill goodbye, thanking them for their performances. The parents handed them envelopes filled with cash, and the thieves made their escape. Outside, they split the presents and the money. "Not bad for a children's party," Bill said, laughing. Molly grinned. "Told you it was worth it." And with that, they vanished into the night, ready for their next adventure.
