Molly adjusted the oversized, rainbow-striped bow tie around Bill's neck with a grimace. It clashed spectacularly with his fluorescent-yellow, rented clown shoes. "Ready?" she whispered, adjusting the comically large daisy sprouting from her own pigtail. Bill shuddered, eyeing the inflatable castle with trepidation. "As I'll ever be." He wiped sweaty palms on his polka-dotted trousers. The scent of sugar and overexcitement wafted from within the rented hall. It was going to be a long, sticky afternoon.
