Molly leaned back in her chair, swirling her brandy. "You know, Bill, I've been thinking..." Bill looked up from the newspaper, one eyebrow raised. "Oh no, not again. What's the verdict this time, Your Honor?" Molly shot him a withering look. "Isn't it time we upped our game? Stole something a bit more...festive?" "Festive?" Bill replied incredulously. "You mean like, I don't know, robbing a children's party?" Molly clapped her hands together gleefully. "Bingo! Absolutely brilliant, you're a regular Sherlock Holmes. I was thinking same thing. Tiny Tim's 8th birthday to be precise. Daddy's loaded and tiny Timmy's spoiled rotten. Those presents are gonna be the goods." Bill sighed and shook his head. "Molly, mate, breaking into an 8-year-old's party is a bit much, even for you. What, the local orphanage wasn't next door?" "Bill, please. Your moral high ground makes me want to vomit. Now are you in or not? I could always find a better partner." Molly pouted, sticking her lower lip out. "I'm in, I'm in," Bill relented. "How do we pull it off though?" Molly grinned. "Disguises, of course. I'll be a princess, naturally. You can be a knight in shining armor. Now be a dear and fetch me a drink. We've got a lot of planning to do." "Fine," Bill grumbled, heading to the kitchen. "But on one condition - we leave the birthday boy's presents. The poor sod's already got enough trauma for one day." Molly chuckled. "Fine, we'll leave Timmy's toys. But everything else goes,Got it? I'm not leaving that party empty-handed." As Bill fixed their drinks, Molly plotted the job, eagerly describing the best way to vacuum up all the loot into a giant sack while everyone was too busy stuffing their faces with cake. "Right Molly, you gotta relax a bit. Stealing from children? Really?" Bill asked, clearly concerned about the plan's moral implications. "Oh, would you stop your whining already? It's all part of the game. These rich brats get too much anyway. Time to spread it around a bit, Robin Hood-style. Now be a dear and hand me a gingerbread cookie while you're up." Shaking his head at his partner's lack of conscience, Bill grabbed a cookie and plopped down next to her on the lounge. They schemed and plotted late into the evening, the idea of that shiny, wrapped loot waiting for them. Mary Poppins and Prince Charming were going to make quite the dynamic duo this Christmas.
