Bill's eyes scanned the vibrant scene before him, filled with children enjoying themselves. He tamped down on mixed feelings: excitement and a trace of guilt. "One last job," he whispered. "It could be our ticket to paradise." Molly's face notched a stern agreement. "You're right, Bill. We've wanted this, craved it for so long...a carefree life, far from our failures." Chuckling, Bill drew nearer to Molly. "Can't blame the past, besides, the greed took hold of us, doesn't it?" Molly's blue eyes darted to him. Not dissecting the raw honesty; "Yes, the thirst to wealth deepened". They both knew they had passed boundaries but looking back it was a choice they couldn't help but relish. "Once we nab those presents and make our escape, I'll arrange the seaside cottage like you've always dreamed." Molly's face lit up. As the present basket was passing, they both held their breaths. "Now or never Molly." She winked, "Guess we're doing this." And they flung themselves into action, swiftly snatching the basket, pocketed it and smoothly melted into the sea of festive children. The lights in the room dimmed, creating an ominous backdrop for their final heist.
