"So, here's the plan," Molly began, tapping her pen against her notebook. "We'll infiltrate the party disguised as inflatable Santas." Bill scratched his head. "Disguised as what?" "Inflatable Santas. They have one at every corner store this time of year." "Oh," Bill nodded, looking unconvinced. "And how are we going to carry all the loot in those outfits?" Molly shrugged. "We'll figure it out. We just need to be prepared for anything. Like how the other night, when we disguised ourselves as Dominos pizzas to rob that bank vault." Bill chuckled. "I still don't know how we managed to fit inside those boxes." "Magic," Molly replied with a wink. "Anyway, we'll sneak into the party, locate the presents, and make our getaway. Once we're out of sight, we'll ditch the inflatable outfits and make a run for it with all the goodies." "Sounds easy enough," Bill said skeptically. "But what about the parents? Won't they notice a bunch of missed presents?" Molly smirked. "Of course not. We'll replace the stolen presents with similar ones from our secret stockpile. No one will be the wiser." "And what if the kids notice?" Bill asked. Molly rolled her eyes. "Please, they're too busy playing with their new toys to even notice what's missing. Now, let's head over to Party City and pick up our new disguises." As they arrived at the store, Molly looked around anxiously. "I hope they have enough inflatable Santas in stock." Bill snorted. "More like I hope they have enough strength to lift us in those suits." They scanned the store for any signs of their desired outfits. Finally, they spotted a pile of them in the corner. As they made their way over, Molly whispered, "Remember, we need to act natural." They each picked up an inflatable Santa suit and headed to the checkout. The cashier looked at them suspiciously as they tried to pay in cash. Bill mumbled something about a friend's kid wanting a surprise, hoping it would appease the cashier. Once they had their disguises in hand, they high-tailed it out of there before anyone could question them further. As they drove to the party, Molly could already feel the heat emanating from the bulky costumes. "Are you sure these things are safe to drive in?" Bill asked, his voice muffled by the inflated beard. Molly shook her head. "Probably not, but we'll figure it out when we get there." Finally, they arrived at the party. The whole block was lit up with decorations and laughter. Molly could hear Christmas carols playing in the background. They snuck around to the back door and took a deep breath, preparing to sneak in. As they pushed open the door, they were hit with a wave of sugary sweet smells and loud childish giggles. "I think we're too late," Bill whispered. But Molly was already on the move. She slipped past a group of parents chatting excitedly and made her way to the room where all the presents were stored. She could see the giant pile of gifts stacked neatly against the wall. "Okay, here's what we're gonna do," Molly said, flipping open her notebook. "You distract the parents while I snatch the goodies." Molly handed Bill a playpen and a giant stuffed animal. "Stack these by the door to create a distraction." Bill nodded, taking the items from her. He made his way to the entrance, trying not to trip over the massive inflatable suit. Meanwhile, Molly dashed towards the present stack, grabbing as many as she could carry. Just as she was about to make her escape, she heard a little voice piping up. "Look, Mommy! A flying Santa!" Molly turned around to see a group of children pointing and laughing at her. She froze, paralyzed by fear. "Uh oh," Bill said, looking at the commotion. "I think we might be busted." As the parents turned towards them, Molly and Bill knew it was time to make a run for it. They bolted for the door, carrying the stolen presents clumsily in their arms. As they made their getaway, Molly could hear the parents shrieking and the children laughing behind them. She could feel the heat from the inflatable suit starting to overwhelm her. "This might be one of our worst ideas yet," Bill panted, struggling to keep up with Molly's pace. But Molly was already three steps ahead, planning their next move. As they rounded the corner, she saw their getaway car parked on the side of the street. They climbed into the vehicle, ripping off their hot and sweaty inflatable suits as they drove away, laughing hysterically at their failed heist. "At least we made a couple kids happy with those toys," Bill said, trying to console himself. Molly nodded, her eyes fixed on the pile of stolen presents in the backseat. "Yeah, but next time, let's stick to banks."
