Molly adjusted her oversized, rainbow-striped sunhat, the one she'd swiped from a particularly clueless tourist earlier that week. "Alright, Bill, you sure about this?" she asked, peering at the opulent mansion before them, its grounds teeming with giggling children in their finest party attire. Bill, sporting a fake mustache that looked like a stray tumbleweed, shrugged. "Sure, it's a piece of cake. Kids are the easiest marks. They're distracted by sugar and bouncy castles, they're terrible at remembering faces, and the only security they have is a three-foot-tall kid in a dinosaur costume." Molly wasn't so sure. "You're forgetting the mothers. They'll be in full 'protective mama bear' mode." "Relax," Bill said, pulling out a small, hand-held device. "I got this. It's a sonic-repellant emitter. Plays whale songs at a frequency only mothers can hear. They'll be too busy having a 'sensory overload' moment to notice a couple of 'helpful' volunteers." Molly raised an eyebrow. "You got whale songs in your arsenal now? What's next, a unicorn riding machine?" Bill ignored her, fiddling with the device. "Just try to keep up. The good loot's in the 'treasure chest' they use as a prize booth. I'm thinking it's full of expensive, personalized gadgets and board games. They probably even have those fancy robot dinosaurs that go 'roar' and play 'Jurassic Park' music." "Don't forget the cupcakes," Molly said, her eyes sparkling. "I'm thinking these are the artisan, organic kind. I'll bet they even have sprinkles that taste like rainbows." Bill rolled his eyes. "You're obsessed with cupcakes." "They're delicious, Bill. Especially the kind with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. And you know what they say: 'A good cupcake is a good heist.'" Bill snorted, then took a deep breath. "Alright, let's do this. Time to make some kid-sized mayhem." He put on a friendly smile and started whistling, mimicking the cheerful tune of a travelling circus. Molly followed suit, adjusting her sunhat and adding a bright, forced grin. “Time to win some prizes, guys!” she exclaimed, pretending to be a cheerful, albeit slightly over-enthusiastic, volunteer. A group of kids, mesmerized by their playful demeanor, gathered around them, their eyes wide with anticipation.
