Molly and Bill sat in their van, parked across the street from the children's party venue. They had cased the joint the previous day and had figured out the best way to get in and out without being detected. "Are you sure about this, Bill?" Molly asked, looking at her partner in crime. "Breaking into a children's party to steal presents? That's low, even for us." "Come on, Molly," Bill replied with a grin. "It'll be easy. The parents will be too busy keeping an eye on their kids to notice us sneaking in and out. And think about it, all those presents just waiting for us to snatch them up. It'll be like taking candy from a baby." Molly sighed and shook her head. "I don't know, Bill. This feels wrong. Kids' parties are supposed to be happy occasions, not opportunities for us to make a quick buck." "Oh, come on," Bill said, his grin widening. "It'll be fun. And besides, we need the money. We haven't had a decent score in weeks." Molly looked out the window at the party venue. She could see the kids running around, laughing and having a good time. She felt a pang of guilt in her stomach. "Alright," she said finally. "But if anything goes wrong, we're out of there. And we're only taking the presents, nothing else. No stealing from the parents or anything like that." "Deal," Bill said, smiling. "Let's get this party started." Molly and Bill put on their masks and gloves, and then made their way across the street towards the party venue. They avoided the front entrance and instead slipped in through a side door that they had left unlocked the previous day. Once inside, they quickly made their way to the room where the presents were being stored. Molly couldn't help but feel a little bit guilty as they started filling their bags with the presents. "Hey, look at this," Bill whispered, holding up a large, plush teddy bear. "This must be the prize present. It's huge." Molly smiled despite herself. "Yeah, it is. Let's just get out of here before anyone notices we're gone." They quickly filled their bags with the presents and then made their way back to the van. They were just about to drive off when they heard a loud noise from inside the party venue. "What was that?" Molly asked, her heart racing. "I don't know," Bill replied, looking concerned. "But we need to get out of here now." They quickly started the van and drove off, hoping that they hadn't been caught. As they drove away, Molly couldn't help but feel a little bit guilty about what they had done. But at the same time, she couldn't deny that it had been a successful heist.
