Molly adjusted her black Balaclava, her eyes narrowing as she surveyed the brightly lit children's party. The sound of laughter and chatter from the little ones filled the air, along with the faint melody of "Happy Birthday." "Alright, Bill," Molly whispered, her voice low and intense. "We've got one shot at this. As soon as they start singing, we make our move." Bill nodded, his eyes darting between the various gift-wrapped packages. "What's the plan again?" he asked, his voice barely audible over the noise of the party. "Simple," Molly replied. "We grab as many presents as we can, make a run for it, and rendezvous back at the van." "But what if someone sees us?" Bill whispered, his eyes wide. "Don't worry about that," Molly said, her lips curling into a mischievous grin. "I've got a distraction planned." Just then, the room erupted into song, the children's voices rising in unison. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..." Molly glanced at Bill, her eyes locked on his. "Now!" she hissed, dashing forward towards the pile of presents. Bill followed close behind, his heart pounding wildly in his chest. They quickly began stuffing the wrapped packages into their large duffel bags, moving with practiced efficiency. Suddenly, a small voice cried out, "Hey, what are you doing?" Molly and Bill exchanged panicked glances. Without a word, they turned and sprinted towards the exit, the sound of confused adults and frightened children filling the air behind them. As they jumped into their waiting van, Molly couldn't help but laugh. "That was too close, Bill," she said, her eyes sparkling. Bill let out a shaky breath, his hands trembling on the wheel.
