Molly sat across from Bill at the tiny coffee shop just off the main boulevard. The place was always empty at this hour, which was exactly why they chose it. She couldn't help but roll her eyes at the cheesy Santa Claus-themed decor as she took a sip of her latte. "So," she said, setting her cup down with a clink. "The plan is to crash a children's party and rip them off, right?" Bill nodded eagerly, a twinkle in his eye. "That's the spirit, Molly. We're going to be like Robin Hood, but for presents." Molly snorted. "Yeah, except we're not giving anything back." "Well," Bill conceded with a grin. "Not technically. But we're doing it for a good cause." Molly raised an eyebrow. "And what good cause would that be?" "Our own," Bill replied matter-of-factly. "We're going to score some serious loot, Molly. This is going to be our biggest heist yet." Molly chuckled. "You really think these rich parents aren't going to notice their hundred-dollar toys are missing?" "We'll be quick and clean," Bill assured her. "We'll case the joint, scope out the exits, and hit them when they least expect it. It'll be like stealing candy from a baby." "And what if the cops show up?" Molly asked, her voice mock-concerned. Bill leaned back in his chair, clapping his hands together. "That's where our disguises come in," he said with a wink. "We'll blend right in with the other partygoers. No one will even know we're there." "And what about the other guests?" Molly pressed. "What if they catch us?" Bill grinned. "We'll leave them a note," he said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a crumpled-up piece of paper. "Something like 'Sorry, but it looks like someone stole all your presents. We had nothing to do with it.'" Molly snorted. "And they're going to believe that?" "Why not?" Bill shrugged. "We'll be long gone by then. Plus, who wouldn't want to believe that Santa Claus himself swooped in and saved the day?" Molly couldn't help but laugh. She loved the excitement and unpredictability of their heists, and she knew Bill felt the same way. They made a great team, bouncing ideas off each other and always coming up with something better than their last job. "So," Molly said, pulling out her phone to check the time. "When do we hit the costume shop?" Bill's eyes lit up. "As soon as we're done here," he said, grabbing his coffee cup and standing up. "Let's do this, Molly. It's going to be epic."
