"Are you serious, Molly?" Bill whispered, his eyes darting around the dimly lit alleyway. "Stealing from a kid's party? That's a new low, even for us." Molly rolled her eyes, adjusting the black ski mask that covered her face. "Don't get your panties in a twist, Bill. We're not stealing from the kids directly. Just the gifts their doting parents shower them with." "You make it sound so noble," Bill muttered, fiddling with the lock picks in his hand. "Look, it's the perfect score," Molly insisted, her voice muffled by the mask. "A bunch of wealthy parents, all trying to one-up each other with lavish gifts. Plus, kids are easily distracted. We'll be in and out before they even notice." Bill shook his head, unconvinced. "I don't know, Molly. This seems risky, even for us." "Risky is our middle name, darling," Molly quipped, patting Bill's cheek affectionately. "Where's your sense of adventure?" "Somewhere between the last time we almost got caught and the time before that," Bill deadpanned. Molly sighed dramatically. "Fine, if you're too chicken, I'll go it alone." "Like hell you will," Bill snapped, his pride piqued. "I'm not letting you have all the fun." Molly grinned beneath her mask. "That's the spirit! Now, here's the plan..." For the next few minutes, Molly outlined the intricate details of their heist, complete with hand gestures and poorly drawn diagrams in the grime on the alleyway walls. "...and that's when we make our grand escape, presents in tow," she finished, a gleam in her eye. Bill rubbed his temples, trying to process the convoluted scheme. "This is insane, Molly. Absolutely insane." "Insanely brilliant, you mean," Molly corrected, elbowing him playfully. "Come on, where's your sense of humor?" "I must have left it back at our last near-death experience," Bill muttered. Molly shrugged nonchalantly. "Suit yourself, grumpy. But just think of all those expensive toys, ripe for the taking." Bill couldn't help but crack a small smile at the thought. "Well, when you put it that way..." "Atta boy!" Molly crowed, clapping him on the back. "Now, let's go crash this party and make off with the loot!" As the two thieves slipped out of the alleyway, Bill couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. But deep down, he knew that no matter how crazy Molly's schemes were, he wouldn't have it any other way.
