Molly leaned back in her chair, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "So, Bill, you ever thought about hitting a children's birthday party?" Bill raised an eyebrow, his skepticism clear. "A children's party? Are you high, Molly? What are we gonna do, steal their candy?" Molly chuckled, shaking her head. "No, no, no. Think bigger. All those presents stacked up like a mountain of loot. Parents go all out these days. Phones, tablets, gaming systems. It's a goldmine." Bill scratched his chin, considering. "Alright, I'll bite. How do we even get in? We can't just waltz in there with a 'Happy Birthday' balloon." "Simple," Molly said, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "We pose as entertainment. I'll be the clown, you can be the magician. We get in, mingle, and when the coast is clear, we make our move." Bill snorted. "A clown and a magician. Classy. What if they ask us to perform?" Molly waved a hand dismissively. "Please, I've got a rubber chicken and a whoopee cushion. You've got a deck of cards and a rabbit. We'll wing it." "And the getaway?" Bill pressed, his tone serious. "We can't exactly haul a bunch of presents out in broad daylight." "We stash 'em in a couple of oversized gift bags. I've got a van parked a block away. We load up, ditch the costumes, and boom, we're outta there." Bill nodded slowly, a grin forming. "Alright, Molly. You've got a twisted mind. I like it. But what if the parents get suspicious?" Molly leaned in, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "We play it cool. Smile, laugh, make balloon animals. By the time they realize the presents are gone, we'll be long gone." Bill laughed, shaking his head. "Only you, Molly. Only you could come up with something this insane." "Hey, when you think about it, it's perfect. No one would suspect a clown and a magician. We're practically family entertainment." Bill stood up, stretching. "Alright, let's do this. But I'm not wearing one of those ridiculous clown noses." Molly rolled her eyes. "Fine, but you're doing the rabbit trick. No backing out now." Bill saluted mockingly. "Aye aye, Captain Clown. Lead the way." Molly grabbed a bag filled with her clown gear, tossing Bill his magician's hat. "Let's get this party started." As they headed out the door, Bill called over his shoulder, "And if this goes south, I'm blaming the clown." Molly laughed, the sound echoing down the hallway. "Deal. But it won't. This is going to be the easiest heist ever." Bill shook his head, a smile playing on his lips. "Yeah, if we don't get arrested for impersonating children's entertainers." Molly winked at him. "Worst case scenario, we get free cake." Bill chuckled, following her out. "Alright, let's go steal some birthday wishes."
