Molly tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for Bill to arrive at their usual meeting spot behind the old abandoned warehouse. She checked her watch for the umpteenth time, muttering under her breath about Bill's chronic tardiness. Finally, she heard the crunch of gravel as Bill's beat-up sedan pulled into the lot. "You're late," Molly snapped as Bill sauntered over, a sheepish grin on his face. "Sorry, Mol. Traffic was a nightmare," Bill replied, running a hand through his messy hair. Molly rolled her eyes. "Yeah, sure. Traffic at 11 PM on a Tuesday. Let's just get down to business, shall we?" Bill nodded, his expression turning serious. "Right. So, what's the score this time?" "We're hitting a children's party," Molly said, a mischievous glint in her eye. Bill's eyebrows shot up. "A kids' party? Are you serious?" "Dead serious. Think about it, Bill. All those shiny new presents, just waiting to be snatched." Bill scratched his chin thoughtfully. "I don't know, Mol. Stealing from kids? That's pretty low, even for us." "Oh, come on," Molly scoffed. "These are rich brats we're talking about. They've probably got more toys than they know what to do with." "I guess you've got a point there," Bill conceded. "So, what's the plan?" Molly pulled out a crumpled piece of paper from her pocket and smoothed it out. "I've got the layout of the house right here. The party's tomorrow afternoon, from 2 to 5." Bill leaned in to examine the crude drawing. "How'd you get this?" "I posed as a party planner last week," Molly said with a smirk. "You should've seen me in my preppy outfit. I looked ridiculous." Bill chuckled. "I bet you did. So, how are we getting in?" "Through the back door," Molly explained, pointing to the diagram. "The parents will be distracted with all the rugrats running around. We slip in, grab the goods, and we're out before anyone notices." "Sounds simple enough," Bill mused. "What about disguises?" Molly grinned. "I thought you'd never ask. We're going as clowns." Bill's face fell. "Clowns? You've got to be kidding me." "Nope. It's perfect. We'll blend right in with the entertainment." "I hate clowns," Bill grumbled. "Suck it up, buttercup," Molly retorted. "It's foolproof. Plus, think of all the places we can hide stuff in those baggy costumes." Bill sighed in resignation. "Fine. But I'm not wearing one of those big red noses." "Deal," Molly agreed. "Now, let's go over the timing. We'll arrive separately, about an hour into the party..." As Molly continued to outline the details of their plan, Bill listened intently, occasionally interjecting with questions or suggestions.
