Molly adjusted the tiny tiara perched on her head, the plastic digging into her scalp. "Are you sure about this, Bill?" "Relax Molls," Bill replied, smoothing down his rainbow striped leggings. "It's genius. Who'd suspect a pair of clowns?" He puffed out his cheeks and blew, the sound a comically pathetic honk. Molly wrinkled her nose. "It's not the clown thing, it's the location. A child's birthday party? Seriously?" Bill tugged at his oversized bow tie. "Seriously. Think about it: distracted parents, mountains of presents, ten-year-old gullibility.” He plucked a balloon animal from his pocket, twisting it expertly into a poodle. "But they'll scream," Molly protested, eyeing the pink monstrosity with suspicion. Bill shrugged, already juggling three rainbow-coloured bowling pins. "Kids scream at everything. It'll just blend in." He winked, the glitter on his eyelids catching the light. "Trust me, Molls. This is going to be a birthday party they'll never forget." Molly shuddered.
