In the dimly lit alley behind the community center, Molly and Bill huddled together, their breaths visible in the chilly night air. The hum of children's laughter and the distant strains of a birthday tune floated through the open window above them. Molly, a petite woman with a mischievous glint in her eye, turned to Bill. "You sure about this, Bill? Stealing from kids? It's a new low, even for us." Bill, a lanky man with a nervous tic, shrugged. "We're not stealing from the kids, Mol. We're stealing from their parents. Besides, it's not like they can't afford it." Molly raised an eyebrow. "You're telling me that the parents of these kids are loaded? And you know this how?" Bill pulled out a crumpled flyer from his pocket. "Saw this on the bulletin board. 'Exclusive party for little Emily. Only the crème de la crème invited.' I figure, if they're exclusive, they've got money to burn." Molly snatched the flyer, scanning it. "And you think we can just waltz in there, grab the presents, and waltz out?" Bill grinned, pulling out a small, ornate key. "I've got the key to the back door. The caterer's kid lost it last week. I 'found' it." Molly sighed, taking the key. "Fine. But if we get caught, I'm blaming you." Bill chuckled. "Deal. Now, let's go steal some Christmas." As they climbed through the window, Molly paused, looking back at Bill. "You know, we're going to hell for this, right?" Bill laughed. "Nah, Mol. We're already there. Might as well enjoy the ride." With that, they slipped into the party, blending in with the crowd. The heist was on.
