"You're not seriously suggesting a penguin suit, are you?" Molly peered down the camera lens at Bill. "And why not? We'll be the life of the party! Think of it, Molly, every eye on us while we dance 'Raquelle Luv Peanuts.’" Bill gestured wildly, accidentally knocking over a mini disco ball standing idle in the corner. "I was thinking more along the lines of maintaining a low profile. Penguin suits attract heat, and this isn't Antarctica!" She grimaced, remembering their last job, a zoo heist, which had ended with them flying on a giraffe. "Fine, no penguin suit. But we have to do something to blend in. These idiotic fools won't suspect a thing if they think the two freakiest looking clowns are just part of the festivities," Bill pondered, twirling his imaginary wig. "Alright. But I draw the line at the red nose, you smell like a hyped-up skunk with that thing," Molly retorted smugly. She knelt to pick up the fallen disco ball, spinning it around and grinning. "Okay, no red nose; you win. But you're clowning it up on tights if I have to do this alone!" Bill growled, crossing his arms. Molly sighed, looking at the lens that was their window into the other room. It was a minefield of sugar-fueled children and hyper-alert parents. But she stood up, taking the first step towards their oddest venture yet. "Alright, Bill. Let's get this clown party started." As the night fell, off-kilter music filled the room and laughter echoed. Two clowns, one overly enthusiastic, one disquietingly sinister, buried themselves among balloons, streamers, and a preference for animal-shaped candy. The hijackers of all things festive subtly swiped presents from beneath lit trees, moved effortlessly between games, and somehow, even managed to distribute candy canes like pros. "And now, we take our bow!" Molly saluted wildly, atop a unicycle with two bananas. "Yeah, and next time, let's try a bank…” Bill smirked, disappearing into the shadows. As the music played on, the revelry continued, unsuspecting to the covert exchange under its roof, and completely ignorant to the fact that the greatest heist wasn't the one wrapped in bright paper and bows on the floor, but the clown performance that had just stolen the show.
