Molly and Bill stood in the shadows of a tall oak tree, watching as children screamed and ran amok in the late afternoon sun. It was little Tyler's birthday, and the entire neighborhood seemed to have turned out for the event. The bouncy castle loomed large, a beacon of primary colors, and the source of gleeful squeals as it bucked and heaved under the weight of tinypartygoers. "There must be at least twenty kids there," Bill said, his eyes wide as he took in the scene. "And look at all those presents piled up by the snack table." "Yeah, it's a goldmine," Molly agreed, rubbing her hands together. "We're gonna need a bigger bag to carry all the loot." "This was a brilliant idea, Molls. Who needs to rob a bank when you can steal from a bunch of unsuspecting toddlers?" Molly grinned. "I know, right? And no one will suspect a thing. It's the perfect crime." "Okay, so here's the plan," Bill said, all business now. "We wait until sunset. That'll give us about an hour before the parents start picking up their kiddies. Then we slip in, grab the goods, and get outta there." "What about the parents? There are a few lingering by the snack table." Bill pulled two bottles of juice from his bag and handed one to Molly. "Drug 'em. I've got a special concoction in here that'll put 'em to sleep for a few hours. We knock it into their drinks, and they won't even know what hit 'em." "You think of everything, Bill." He winked. "I try." As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the yard, Molly and Bill made their move. Dressed in dark hoodies, they slipped unnoticed into the crowd. Bill headed straight for the snacks, casually pouring his juice into the punch bowl. Meanwhile, Molly sidled up to a group of parents standing by the present table, chatting away as she surreptitiously added her juice to their drinks. Within minutes, the effects were noticeable. "Whoa, I'm feeling a bit dizzy," one dad said, clutching his paper plate. "Me too," another agreed, sitting down heavily on a nearby chair. "Think I need to sit this one out." As the parents succumbed one by one, Molly and Bill met by the present table, their eyes shining with mischief. "You ready?" Bill whispered. Molly nodded, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Let's do this." Together, they began scooping up armfuls of brightly wrapped presents, their laughter mixing with the fading squeals of children as the sun set on little Tyler's birthday bash.
