In the shadows of a quiet alley, Molly and Bill huddled together, their breath visible in the chilly night air. The hum of a children's party echoed from the brightly lit house across the street. Molly, a petite woman with a mischievous glint in her eye, turned to Bill. "You sure about this, Bill? It's a kids' party. They're gonna be heartbroken." Bill, a lanky man with a nervous twitch, adjusted his glasses. "Molly, we've been doing this for years. A few tears never hurt anyone. Besides, it's not like we're taking their toys away from them forever. Just... borrowing them for a while." Molly raised an eyebrow. "Borrowing? We're stealing, Bill. Let's not sugarcoat it." Bill sighed. "Fine, we're stealing. But it's not like they won't get new ones. Their parents can afford it." Molly shook her head, a small smile playing on her lips. "You're terrible, you know that? But I like your twisted logic." Bill grinned. "Thanks. Now, let's get this show on the road. I've got a date with a certain stuffed bear." Molly rolled her eyes but pulled out a small device from her pocket. "Alright, let's disable the alarm. Three... two... one..." A soft beep echoed, and the alarm light went dark. Molly looked at Bill, her eyes sparkling. "We're in, partner." Bill nodded, his eyes fixed on the house. "Let's make this quick and quiet. In and out, like a thief in the night." Molly chuckled. "You're a poet and you don't even know it, Bill." As they slipped into the house, the sound of laughter and music filled the air. Molly looked at Bill, her eyes reflecting the twinkling Christmas lights. "You ready to make some kids cry, Bill?" Bill took a deep breath, his eyes scanning the room filled with presents. "As ready as I'll ever be, Molly. Let's do this." And with that, they disappeared into the crowd, their eyes fixed on the mountain of presents, ready to make their move.
