Molly and Bill sat huddled in a dark alley, whispering conspiratorially as they finalized their plans to infiltrate the children's party and make off with all the presents. "Alright, Bill," Molly hissed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Here's the plan. You slip in through the back door, create a distraction, and I'll swoop in and nab the presents." Bill, a lanky man with a scruffy beard, scrunched up his nose in confusion. "Wait, what kind of distraction am I supposed to create?" Molly rolled her eyes, exasperated. "Does it matter? Just do something to divert their attention. Tell them you're a magician or something." "But I'm not a magician," Bill protested weakly. "Well, fake it!" Molly snapped, her patience wearing thin. "Just do some card tricks or pull a rabbit out of your hat." Bill sighed, resigned to his fate. "Fine, but what if they ask me where the rabbit came from?" Molly smirked and winked at him. "Just tell them it's the magic of Christmas." With their plan in place, the two thieves slipped through the shadows and made their way towards the brightly lit party. Molly watched as Bill entered through the back door, immediately causing a stir among the children as he began to perform his impromptu magic show. As the children's attention was focused on Bill's sleight of hand, Molly seized her opportunity. She crept behind the Christmas tree, quickly gathering up armfuls of presents and stuffing them into a large sack. "Is that Santa's bag?" one of the children asked, pointing at Molly. Molly froze, her heart racing. "Uh, yes," she stammered. "Santa asked me to collect the presents so he could deliver them to all the good little boys and girls." The child's eyes widened in awe, and Molly took advantage of the moment to slip out of the room unnoticed. Back in the alley, Molly and Bill quickly divvied up the loot, grinning from ear to ear as they admired their haul. "Not bad for a night's work," Molly said, patting Bill on the back. "And you weren't half bad as a magician." Bill smiled bashfully, his eyes twinkling in the moonlight. "Thanks. I guess I found my calling." Molly laughed and shook her head. "Don't quit your day job just yet, Bill. We've still got more heists to pull off." With their spirits high and pockets full, the two thieves disappeared into the night, ready to take on their next big score.
