Molly and Bill stood in the shadows cast by the tall fence surrounding the backyard where the children's party was in full swing. Paper streamers and balloons decorated the yard, and the happy shrieks of sugar-fueled kids filled the air. "Are you sure this is a good idea, Bill? Stealing from kids?" Molly's green eyes sparkled with a mixture of excitement and nerves. Her short blonde hair was hidden under a black beanie, and she pulled her dark blue hoodie tighter around her small frame. "Of course, it's a good idea! Those brats have more toys than they know what to do with. We're doing them a favor by redistributing the wealth, so to speak." Bill, a lanky man with a mop of brown hair, adjusted his fake mustache. He wore a baggy gray sweatshirt with the words 'World's Best Uncle' emblazoned across the front. "I don't know..." Molly trailed off as a group of children ran past, chasing a butterfly. "It just feels a little..." "Unethical?" Bill supplied with a grin. "Come on, Molls. Where's your sense of adventure? This will be a piece of cake. In, grab a few presents, out. No one will even notice." "You're forgetting the parents. They tend to notice when their kids' presents go missing." Molly bit her lip, her eyes scanning the yard. "What if someone sees us?" "Then we improvise." Bill's voice was calm and reassuring. "Look, we've done our research. The parents are too busy mingling and chatting to pay attention to a couple of unsuspecting party guests." "Unsuspecting party guests who just so happen to be carrying large bags to put presents in." Molly held up the bright pink gift bag they had brought with them, decorated with images of unicorns and rainbows. Bill waved her concerns away. "Details, details. We blend in, grab what we can, and leave. Easy peasy." "If you say so." Molly still didn't sound convinced, but the determined set of her jaw told Bill she was on board. They waited until the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the backyard. The party was winding down, and children were starting to leave, their faces paint-smeared and tired but happy.
