Molly sat at the kitchen table with her legs crossed, tapping a pen against her teeth as she studied a hand-drawn map of the house. Bill sat across from her, staring intently at the map as well. “So, the parents are putting the kids to bed at nine. We have to be in and out before then, got it?” Molly said, looking up from the map. “Yeah, we don’t want to get stuck with a house full of screaming children,” Bill replied, chuckling. Molly laughed, tossing the pen aside. “And we’ve got to be quiet! We can’t afford to alert anyone. There’s way too much at stake.” Bill nodded, his brow furrowed in concentration. “Do we know how many presents there are?” Molly flipped the map over and consulted another drawing. “There’s… about twenty-five. I counted them myself.” “Twenty-five, huh? That’s more than I expected. Maybe we should split up and double our chances,” Bill suggested, his eyes shining with excitement. Molly raised an eyebrow. “Split up? Are you crazy? This is a children’s party we’re talking about. We’re not robbing a bank!” Bill sighed, deflated. “Okay, okay. Sorry. But we’ve gotta make this count. We need these presents for our next job. They’re worth a fortune.” Molly leaned back in her chair, steepling her fingers beneath her chin. “Alright, alright. Let’s just lay out the plan and stick to it. We’ll enter through the kitchen window. I’ll create a distraction by spilling some food or something while you slip in and grab the gifts.” Bill nodded enthusiastically. “Got it. What kind of distraction are we talking about? Something loud, or...?” Molly winked at him. “I’ll think of something. But it’s gotta be good. We don’t want these parents suspecting a thing.” The pair fell silent, deep in thought, planning their every move. Finally, Bill spoke up again. “So... what’s your distraction gonna be?” Molly chuckled, her eyes twinkling with mischief. “Well, let’s just say you’ll know it when you see it.” Bill laughed, shaking his head. “You always have to keep me guessing, don’t you?” Molly winked at him again, standing up from the table. “That’s right. Now let’s get moving. We’ve got a party to steal from.” And with that, the two thieves set off, their minds racing with the potential rewards of their daring heist. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but with their unique skills and a little bit of laughter, they were ready to tackle anything that came their way. After all, laughter was the best medicine... and the key to a successful robbery. As they made their way to the scene of the crime, they couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement surge through them. This was going to be their biggest job yet, and they were determined to pull it off with flair and style. And who knew? Maybe they'd even discover a new trick or two along the way. Only time would tell how successful their mission would be. But one thing was for sure: with Molly and Bill working together, it was bound to be a night to remember... or at least a night worth stealing.
