We have to be in and out before then, got it?” Molly said, looking up from the map. “Yeah, we don’t want to get stuck with a house full of screaming children,” Bill replied, chuckling. Molly laughed, tossing the pen aside. “And we’ve got to be quiet! We can’t afford to alert anyone. There’s way too much at stake.” Bill nodded, his brow furrowed in concentration. “Do we know how many presents there are?” Molly flipped the map over and consulted another drawing. “There’s… about twenty-five. I counted them myself.” “Twenty-five, huh? That’s more than I expected. Maybe we should split up and double our chances,” Bill suggested, his eyes shining with excitement. Molly raised an eyebrow. “Split up? Are you crazy? This is a children’s party we’re talking about. We’re not robbing a bank!” Bill sighed, deflated. “Okay, okay. Sorry. But we’ve gotta make this count. We need these presents for our next job. They’re worth a fortune.” Molly leaned back in her chair, steepling her fingers beneath her chin. “Alright, alright. Let’s just lay out the plan and stick to it. We’ll enter through the kitchen window. I’ll create a distraction by spilling some food or something while you slip in and grab the gifts.” Bill nodded enthusiastically. “Got it. What kind of distraction are we talking about? Something loud, or...?” Molly winked at him. “I’ll think of something. But it’s gotta be good. We don’t want these parents suspecting a thing.” The pair fell silent, deep in thought, planning their every move.
