Molly and Bill crouched behind a row of bushes, peering through the leaves at the colorful chaos of the children's party. Balloons bobbed in the air, and the sound of laughter and squeals filled the backyard. A clown was making balloon animals, and a table groaned under the weight of brightly wrapped presents. "Alright, Bill, what's the plan?" Molly whispered, her eyes fixed on the pile of gifts. Bill adjusted his black beanie and grinned. "Simple. We blend in, grab the loot, and get out. Easy peasy." Molly raised an eyebrow. "Blend in? We're not exactly dressed for a party, Bill." Bill looked down at his all-black ensemble and shrugged. "Details, details. We'll improvise. You see that clown over there?" Molly nodded, a smirk forming on her lips. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" "Yep. We need a distraction, and nothing says chaos like a clown gone rogue," Bill said, rubbing his hands together. Molly chuckled. "Alright, you handle the clown. I'll start gathering the presents. Meet back here in ten minutes." Bill gave her a thumbs-up and slinked off towards the clown, who was now attempting to twist a balloon into the shape of a giraffe. Molly watched as Bill approached the clown, whispered something in his ear, and then slipped a whoopee cushion into his oversized shoe. The clown's eyes widened, and he started to wobble, his big red nose honking in alarm. Molly took her cue and darted towards the gift table. She grabbed a large, pink box and stuffed it into her oversized bag. She was reaching for another when a small voice piped up behind her. "Hey, what are you doing?" Molly spun around to see a little girl with pigtails staring at her, eyes wide with curiosity. Thinking quickly, Molly plastered on a smile. "Oh, hi there! I'm just, uh, helping the clown with a magic trick. You like magic, don't you?" The girl's eyes lit up. "I love magic!" "Great! Then you won't tell anyone, right? It's a secret trick," Molly said, crossing her fingers behind her back. The girl nodded vigorously. "I promise!" Molly sighed in relief and continued stuffing presents into her bag. Meanwhile, Bill was causing a scene with the clown. The whoopee cushion had done its job, and now the clown was hopping around, trying to shake it out of his shoe. Kids were laughing and pointing, and parents were rushing over to see what the commotion was about. "Perfect distraction," Molly muttered to herself as she grabbed the last present. She glanced over to see Bill giving her a thumbs-up from across the yard. She nodded and started to make her way back to their meeting spot. Just as she reached the bushes, she heard a voice behind her. "Hey, you! Stop!" Molly froze and turned to see a parent marching towards her, suspicion written all over his face. Thinking quickly, she pulled out a balloon animal from her bag and waved it in the air. "Look! A balloon giraffe! Who wants it?" The kids cheered and swarmed around her, blocking the parent's path. Molly took the opportunity to slip into the bushes, where Bill was waiting. "Nice work," Bill said, grinning. "Thanks. Now let's get out of here before they realize what's missing," Molly replied, hefting the bag of presents over her shoulder. They slipped away, leaving behind a party full of laughter, chaos, and one very confused clown.
