It’s a bunch of moms with cake crumbs in their hair. No alarm system, no guards, just a bunch of sugar-crazed kids.” “Sugar-crazed kids with a knack for squealing,” Molly countered, her eyes flitting to the chaotic scene inside the brightly decorated room. Pink and blue balloons bobbed chaotically, a disco ball spun lazily, and a half-eaten unicorn cake sat precariously on a table. “It’s all about timing, Moll,” Bill said, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “The cake, the presents, and the chaos are our allies. We just need to hit them at the right moment, grab the loot, and get out before anyone notices.” “How do we know when the ‘right moment’ is?” Molly asked, adjusting her own oversized clown hat. “Simple. We look for the inevitable meltdown,” Bill said, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "You know it’s coming. One kid’s birthday wish isn’t granted, another spills their juice, somebody cries because their balloon popped... BOOM! Time to strike.” A high-pitched scream pierced the air, followed by the sound of a child crying. Molly, her eyes wide, pointed to the source of the commotion. "Is that...?" "Yep," Bill said, a devilish twinkle in his eye. "It's the inevitable meltdown. Time to go to work, my dear." Molly sighed, then nodded. "Alright, let's do this. But if we end up in a clown jail for this, I swear I’m putting a stink bomb in your wig." Bill laughed. "Don’t worry, Moll, we’ll be too rich to even notice the stink. Now, follow my lead, and let's give these kids a celebration they won't soon forget... by taking away all their presents!" As they slipped into the room, giggling like a pair of manic pixies, Molly couldn't help but wonder if this entire plan was a little too ambitious... and if they were, in fact, slightly insane.
