Molly unfolded the party invitation, tracing the rainbow- colored font with her finger. "Operation Candy Cane is a go, Bill." Bill raised an eyebrow, his eyes fixed on the picture of a grinning clown. "You're really committed to this, aren't you? Stealing from kids?" "Hey, these aren't your average kids," Molly said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "We're talking trust-fund toddlers, Bill. They won't even notice their presents are gone until they're old enough to trade them for caviar and Range Rovers." Bill snorted. "You've been reading too many tabloids." "Hey, it's research," Molly defended. "Besides, we've got a score to settle. Remember that birthday party we crashed in '08? The one where we got caught and had to leave with only a bag of stale chips?" Bill winced. "Yeah, how could I forget? We still owe Paulo for bailing us out of that one." Molly grinned mischievously.
