A single, giant cupcake adorned with enough buttercream frosting to send a small child into a sugar frenzy sat between Molly and Bill, utterly ignored. Molly traced a finger along the blueprints spread across the table, a look of intense concentration on her face. "So, we’re talking about at least twenty, thirty kids, right?" Bill said, scratching his stubble. "More like fifty," Molly muttered, her finger pausing on a door marked 'Party Room'. "Fifty? Are we robbing a preschool or a children's birthday party?" "Think of the loot, Bill! Fifty kids? That's potentially fifty plushies, board games, possibly even a pony!" Molly's eyes gleamed. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves with ponies, alright?" Bill picked up a miniature, uneaten pizza and examined it with disdain. "What self-respecting child throws a party with mini-pizzas?" Molly ignored him, her finger tracing a route through the labyrinthine house plan. "Here's the plan. While the kids are distracted - you create a distraction?" He raised an eyebrow. "What do I look like, a clown?" "You could be," Molly said, considering. "I am not putting on a clown costume, Molly." "Fine, fine. We’ll figure that out later. Point is, while you're distracting them… with whatever non-clown-related distraction you choose… I’ll zip in, grab the presents, and zip out." “And where do you suppose these hypothetical mountains of presents will be located?” Molly tapped the plan. "Here. The 'Gift Volcano'." Bill groaned. "A volcano? Seriously?" "Apparently, the birthday boy is obsessed with geology." "Of course he is." He sighed. "Alright, so you grab the loot from Mount Doom here," he jabbed the plan, "and then what?" "We meet at the extraction point." “Which is?” Bill looked around expectantly. “The bouncy castle,” Molly deadpanned. Bill almost choked on his mini-pizza. “You’re kidding, right?” Molly leaned back, a slow smile spreading across her face. “Bill, have you ever escaped a party in a bouncy castle?” He sputtered, then paused, a flicker of reluctant amusement in his eyes. “No, but—“ “It’ll be epic.” She tapped the bright pink monstrosity on the plan. “Operation Birthday Heist is a go.”
