"Besides, who's going to suspect a couple of adults at a kiddie party? We wouldn't stand out more than a clown with a unibrow." Bill laughed, brushing his hand through his hair. "True, but how do we get past the parents? They might not take kindly to strangers munching on their kid's cake." Molly wiggled her eyebrows. "Ah, that's where Operation 'Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Gremlin' comes into play. We'll be in disguise—" "Disguise?" Bill repeated, sounding skeptical. "Yup, I'm thinking balloon animals. If we show up with a whole bunch of balloon hats and swords, we'll blend right in. Plus, it's a perfect cover for our getaway bags." Bill's eyebrows climbed into his hairline. "Getaway bags disguised as balloon animals? I can't believe I'm even considering this." "Well, consider it," Molly said, her eyes sparkling. "It's foolproof, at least as far as plans involving stealing candy from a baby's mouth go." Bill chuckled, shaking his head. "You know what? I like it. It's crazy enough to work." Molly smirked. "Always go for crazy. Normal plans are for boring thieves. We stick out. So, in addition to the disguises, I thought we'd bring those little bubble machines. We distract them with bubbles—" "Bubbles?" Bill raised an eyebrow. "You sure know how to party." "Just hear me out! Kids love bubbles. We flood the place, and while everyone's trying to catch them, we make our move. Scoop up the presents, and we're out like a bat out of hell." "You're nuts," Bill said, though his eyes were twinkling. "It's part of my charm," Molly said, winking. "So, are we in agreement? Balloons, bubbles, and swag? Operation 'Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Gremlin' commences this weekend." "We're robbing a children's party," Bill muttered, rolling his eyes as he grinned. Molly slapped the table. "Exactly!
